Ride Like Wyatt

Honoring Wyatt’s Legacy

The Ride Like Wyatt Grant was created in memory of an incredible young cowboy whose joy, grit, and kindness continue to inspire us all. Wyatt had a way of making everyone smile and enjoy the little things in life. This program carries that spirit forward by helping the next generation of riders chase their dreams.

What the Grant Supports

Funds raised through the Ride Like Wyatt Memorial Sort and related events go directly into a grant that helps youth riders pursue ranch sorting. The program assists with entry fees and expenses, making it possible for kids to compete, grow, and carry on the western way of life.

Fundraising Events

The ranch sorting community rallies each year to keep Wyatt’s legacy alive through a memorial event including:

  • Memorial Sort – A #8 HC Class fundraiser and calcutta, with proceeds supporting the RLW Grant.
  • Pink Shirt Day – Proceeds from shirt sales go directly to the program, with riders encouraged to wear pink in Wyatt’s honor.
  • Silent Auction – 100% of auction proceeds benefit the RLW Grant.

How You Can Help

You can make a difference in the lives of young riders by supporting the Ride Like Wyatt Grant. Join us at a fundraiser, donate to the silent auction, or contribute directly to the program. Every dollar goes toward giving youth riders opportunities in the sport of ranch sorting — and keeping Wyatt’s legacy alive in the arena.
